Mandy & Brian got married at the beautiful Manor House at Common Wealth in Horsham, Pa. We had to dodge a few rain drops and I give Mandy & Brian a lot of credit for being willing to go outside for photos when the conditions weren’t exactly fit for it. Kristen & Cory chose a beautiful Venue for their wedding!! This was my first time shooting at the Hotel Hershey and everyone there was very nice and accommodating. They also chose one of the best bands ever! The Heartbeats from Philadelphia definitely does it right! They were amazing and kept the dance floor full all 5 hours of this reception. We started out in Philadelphia at the Loews hotel where Lisa & Doug were getting ready and would do their first look. I found this cool alley behind the hotel that worked out perfect for the first look. After we did photos down town we made our way over to the Horticulture Center. This was my first time working at this venue and I thought it was amazing! The details and the overall feel in the place was great. I really enjoyed working there! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Yesterday as we were waiting for the bride to arrive at the venue and I had a little extra time to work with the groom. I normally don’t get a chance to work with the guys because I’m with the girls as they get ready, so I rely on my second shooter to capture these portraits. I was loading all the images last night and this portrait of Brian stuck out to me. It reminded me of how important it is to not only capture portraits of the bride but good photos of the groom too.
