Shannon & Aaron :: Winter Wedding

Shannon and Aaron were so brave on their wedding day, no they did not ski down a black diamond hill, or go ice-fishing, but it was sure close!:)…they withstood the FREEZING temperatures to take pictures OUTDOORS in 15 degree weather (if that).  I want to thank my ever fabulous and amazing second shooter, Trish Landis (who just happens to be my wife).  Her images are sprinkled throughout the post.  Thanks Shannon and Aaron for trusting us to be a part of your day!

Shannon’s dad seeing her for the first time…

Shannon and Aaron chose to do a first look before their ceremony.  I just love when my brides and grooms choose this, it is such an emotional moment that they get to share with one another.

I Love My Job!

I photographed this awesome family recently and I just love how this image came out.  I’ll be posting more from this session soon.  for now enjoy this one…

Lisa & Peye :: Philadelphia Wedding

I spent New Years Eve with Lisa & Peye.  Their wedding went very smooth and although I missed bringing in the new year with my beautiful wife, I had such a great time shooting their wedding.  We started out at the Hilton City Ave where both the ladies and the guys were getting ready.  Everyone was so much fun to work with and their wedding party made my job even that much more fun!:)

My good friend Kevin High joined me for the day and snagged the next two shots.  Thanks Kevin for giving up your party plans!;)

When you are wearing funny glasses, borrow the janitors gear, jump on your bridesmaids back, you better believe you’ll make the blog!   One of the best entrances I have ever seen…

2..1.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Portraits :: The A Family

Did you ever step outside and immediately your eyes and nose start to water because the air and wind are so cold?  That is exactly how it was a few weeks back when I worked with Michelle, her mom, and her brother.  Fortunately we had a great place to work, inside the complex where they live.  However… we did venture out for a few pics and I think they turned out great!  All three of them did a awesome job braving the frigid temps.  I had a wonderful time getting to know the three of them and can’t wait until we do it again.  We all agreed that the next session will be at the beach. LOL:)

Accordion Books :: Cool New Product

Recently I’ve been exploring many new products that I can offer to my clients so they can show off their cool images to their family & friends.  I stumbled on these wallet size accordion books that come in a 3 pack and many different cover options.  They hold 10 photos front/back and fit in your pocket… how cool is that!  I am really excited to offer these and they will be available for purchase on your gallery at the end of this week.

Bethany & Tom :: Day After Session

Bethany & Tom were married back in September of 2009.  If you remember their wedding from following my work, you would remember that it was pretty much pouring rain for their entire wedding day.  If you are new to my blog and you missed seeing their wedding, no worries… you can see it by clicking here.  After being very limited to the outside world on their wedding day we decided to do a “Day After Session”, and I couldn’t be more happier about it.  I just love shooting these for a couple reasons… 1) everyone is much more relaxed and stress free!:)2) There are no time restraints, which makes me smile:)  3) You (bride) get to put that expensive dress back on and totally ROCK it out!:)

Yes… it was crazy cold!  I love this shot of Bethany getting ready to do the runway model thing.

Oh what an awesome location! I love the ones of her in the ivy/vines and them on the bridge. Gorgeous.

Mike, you are the best! I am so grateful we were able to do a “day after session.” Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now if only I didn’t have SO many amazing photos to pick from the album choices would be much easier to make ;)

The R Family :: Portraits

The past fall I was crazy busy shooting a bunch of families.  I photographed this same family last year and I had so much fun working with these guys again, Kaylee is getting so big and she’s adorable!

Awesome job Mike! Thanks so much again for battling the cold with us. I borrowed a few of these for my facebook, hope you don’t mind :) .

Alicia & Bill :: NYC Engagement Session

If you follow my work you might remember Alicia & Bill from their “real” engagement session last March.  If you didn’t get a chance to see it, you can check it out here.  I was so happy when these guys contacted me and hired me to shoot their wedding this September in Philadelphia.:)  They are such a fun couple and we had a fantastic time in NY doing their engagement photos.

Alicia & Bill, I am really looking forward to being a part of your wedding this September!:)

On the subway heading into the city…

Christmas time in NY rocks!

Bill being a HUGE Yankees fan, we had to do a couple shots with the jersey’s.  Sorry Bill, but I like Alicia’s jersey a little better.;)

WOW! These are awesome. The colors are so vibrant. I love the one where the taxi is just a streak flying by. That’s New York alright. Thanks for sharing these.
