Wedding at the Loews in Philadelphia | Alicia & Bill

A few words best describe this past Saturday’s wedding… AMAZING, FUN, and WINDY! I had one of the most fun weekends of shooting ever, mostly because I got to spend a lot of time with my wife as she second shot for me. My relationship with Alicia & Bill started last year when Bill hired me to capture his proposal to Alicia in Philadelphia, you can see that by clicking here. These two, along with their family and friends know how to party! Their reception was at the Loews Hotel in downtown Philadelphia and is now very high on my recommendation list for venues! Also very high on that list is Matthew Ostroff and his team from EBE Entertainment. They did an amazing job and kept the dance floor packed the entire night.

Alicia is a dance team instructor, she choreographed a bridal party dance that was so amazing…and they only got to practice 1 1/2 times (one of them being at the bottom of the Art Museum steps while we were taking Alicia and Bill’s pics) A couple shots to end an amazing night!

Engagement Photos | Jaime & Ryan

I recently had the honor to work with my cousin Jaime and her new fiance, which was so much fun getting to know them better and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this October. Ryan is such a great guy, I’m really happy for Jaime! I get really excited when family chooses me as their photographer. It’s going to be so much fun seeing all my relatives at their wedding and they get to see what I do for living. Jaime’s Daughter came alone too and she is just WAY to cute!

Hilltown, Pa Wedding | Mayra & Matthew

A couple weeks ago I was blessed to work with a super fun couple. I love seeing past clients at the weddings I shoot because that means they are doing a good job of spreading the word about my work. Mayra & Matt had an amazing wedding that took place at a private residence in Hilltown, Pa. The property is gorgeous! Mayra looked amazing and Matt & his friends are always so much fun to photograph. This bridal party had one of the best entrances I’ve ever seen.

Wedding at Aldie Mansion | Kelsey & David

Back to back weekends at the Beautiful Aldie Mansion. I can’t say enough about this amazing place and their staff! They do it right. You might remember Kelsey & David from their engagement photos a while back… yeah the couple that could karate kick really well! Although there would be no karate kicking at their wedding, they did wear some really sweet chucks!

Congrats Kelsey & David, Trish & I had a blast with you guys! Enjoy the photos!

Family Portraits | The H Family

You might think shooting large groups of people would be challenging. It’s true, it can be at times but this family made it look easy. They did an amazing job in front of the camera and they always have so much fun. Mr & Mrs H have 7 children and 4 of the 7 live in different parts of the country. So when they all got together the other week it was time for photos. Enjoy a few of my favorites…

When they would go on vacation or anywhere all together they would yell out their number to make sure everyone was accounted for…

Family Portraits in the Poconos | The M Family

I returned to Lake Pocono for more family portraits a few weeks ago. I love shooting around this lake, there are so many great spots. Tanner’s family was visiting from Chicago and decided to do family photos. Her brother and soon to be sister in law are getting married over in England next year, so we hooked them up with a few engagement photos. Yes, I wish I was shooting their wedding.

Philadelphia Family Portraits | The M Family

I recently met up with the M family at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia to take their family portraits. When Kristen, their oldest daughter scheduled the session it was originally intended to be just Mr. & Mrs. M for their 30th anniversary. But when Mr. & Mrs. M found out they wanted to include the entire family in some of the photos. I had such a fun time shooting this session and I can’t wait to make some prints for them to enjoy in their homes!

Mr. & Mrs. M, congrats and thank you for being such an inspiration to all the married couples you come in contact with. Your love for each other and your family is very evident!

They are huge Phillies fans…… All but one!

Aldie Mansion Wedding :: Liz & Jay

Liz & Jay got married at the Aldie Mansion in Doylestown. Their wedding was on a Friday and it kicked off another busy weekend of shooting for me, which always makes me very happy! They are the most laid back fun couple and Trish and I had so much fun working with them and their families. Trish did a stellar job once again and I am so excited to share these photos. Some of hers are in the mix.

Just as a joke, Jay gave all the groomsmen out there a “what not to do”.
This is a perfect example of why two photographers is a MUST! Trish’s shot is first and mine is of the kids.

New York City Wedding :: Sarah & Pat

A quick story about how much I love my job… The last weekend in July was a crazy one for me. I would be shooting two weddings in a matter of 26 hours. The first one was Melisa & Jeff’s wedding at the Lake House Inn, which if you missed it was the post before this one. Melisa & Jeff’s wedding started at 3pm and ended at about 12:30am and the next day I needed to be in NYC by 9:30 am for Sarah and Pat’s wedding which ended at 5pm… whew! Yes, I told you I love my job this much! I need to thank my wife who shot on Saturday with me and my good friend Kevin High who not only shot with me on Sunday but drove us to NYC and back to give me a couple extra hours of rest, I couldn’t have done it without either of you guys and of course the help of some five hour energy drinks.

Kevin & I had an amazing time working with Sarah & Pat. We started off walking from their apartment to the venue and grabbed a bunch of shots along the way. The venue by the way was a beautiful place called Terrace in the Sky. The view from the balcony is unmatched, it’s amazing. Thanks again Sarah & Pat, I wish you guys all the best!

Melisa & Jeff :: Lake House Inn

Melisa and Jeff were married on a gorgeous July day at The Lake House Inn. This was my first time shooting at this venue in the middle of the wedding season, I’ve always shot here in late fall. The lake is an amazing background for the ceremony! Melisa & Jeff chose to do a “reveal” and all their photos before the ceremony and we absolutely love when the bride and groom choose to do this. Not only do we usually get more time for photos, the couple can really enjoy their cocktail hour and are able to spend more time with their family and guests. My amazing wife was with me again for this one and she always gets way better shots than me, honestly she makes me look so good! A bunch of her photos are mixed in.

Congrats Melisa and Jeff and thank you for allowing us to capture this very special time in your lives!
